Some of us are still having trouble receiving the digital over the air signals though.

6:35am Morehead and Elliotville Fire Departments and Rowan EMS responded to a barn fire on
Christy Creek between Messer Road and Patties Lick.
A horse running from a barn with a blazing saddle, ran into the side of a car causing an accident.
EFD chief was first on scene and advised the barn was fully involved.

A Burn Ban Is In Effect For Rowan County:
The ban was enacted on September 26th, 2008
and was to go into effect immediately.
The ban prohibits ALL outdoor burning until this
area receives a significant amount of rainfall.
