Here is the link to a great website called Christian Vegetarian’s. I get their email newletters all the time and they go to Christian events and hand out pamplets, etc., on if you really stick with the BIBLE teachings, you would not be eating God’s creatures. http://www.christianvegetarian.com

also check into (PETA E-News: Undercover Investigation in Kosher Slaughterhouse), here we go opening up another can of worms. Yes, I grew up on a rabbit farm and ate rabbit, squirrel, frog legs, bambi, etc., but then when I grew a brain, I realized these helpless animals have done nothing wrong and have just as much right to be on this planet as I do. How can anyone look into the eyes of a helpless innocent animal and kill it? They breathe the same air we do, have a heartbeat, feel pain, etc. I just don’t understand people being so cruel and then putting it in the paper of what a fine accomplishment it was for them to take the life of an innocent creature that the Lord saw fit to place on this earth. Seems like about this same time every year we get into this same conversation as everyone heads into the woods looking for a trophy to make themselves feel superior, so they can beat on their chest and yell that they are king or queen of the world.

  3. Steve says:

Better read your Bible again, because everything was put here for mans benefit, but the Bible clearly states to fully cook your food, and not to eat blood(read the new testament).

  4. Kat says:

Steve: responding to a July 3, 2007 post? wow, you got a lot of catching up to do.

  5. I thought this section was for “reviews” of Movies and Plays and music and such?

  6. Kat says:

You’re right RVC. It should be on the ‘What’s buggin’ you’ thread. Just responded to Steve.

Dave has fixed the problems with the site, should be good to go for everyone.

  12. I guess a link to a youtube video is spam?

  13. RVC says:

go to youtube and search for user DRVBRICK the latest video is of a “burnoff rack” associated with the plastics plant next to all the schools…
I can’t seem to post a link to it.

  14. Doodah says:

I would imagine these guys are liscensed by the EPA to do such stuff.Maybe that should be checked out first. Not first thing of this sort in the county.Place at mouth of Coppera Hollow done same thing.

  15. So you want to breath the manboob smoke or your chillins’ out at the schools,
Do you want your grandaughter to start menstruation at 7 or earlier from exposure to the
extra endocrine disruptors in the air, not just in the food and water. & Yeah why do they keep moving around these operations, there was a large one down on 377 just past the Johnson Church for awhile, they had a large “accidental” fire there several years ago, it smelled pretty bad for days. Perhaps they are trying to avoid contaminations that show up in one particular side stream and ground water?

  16. nighthawk says:

The link for that DRVBRICK video footage is linked by my nickname.
What are they burning in that thing to cause such a smell?
Click the green “nighthawk” to see the video of a local burner close to the schools.

  17. nighthawk says:

That is somewhat close to the land of the 5 and 8 leaf clovers too.
What is it, about 2 miles from the Maxey Flats site?

How ’bout we drive out Drip Springs Hollow and dig some nightcrawlers and
do some fishing in the pond on Rock Lick? …Anyone?

  18. Oh you must have smelled the land fill buring you dummy!
Never saw a 8leaf clover but the odds of dozens of five leaf and six leaf clovers seems a bit long eh?
Vitamin Tritium and Plutonium from Maxi Flatts was distributed from about 5 air miles to the northwest of the high School way before the SHS was built when they ran the evaporation/incineration operation decades ago, this rack burn off situation is about .4 tenths a mile south east. In the still air of the evening it just hangs in the air I suppose like a wood stove smoke will do sometimes.

  19. Why didn’t I think of that use the website link in the comment box, you smartie pants

  20. I always thot it silly that dad said not to eat the snow because of the open air nuke testing they did out west a couple of thousand miles away, maybe he did not want to tell us about Maxi Flatts so we would drink our milk from Spring Grove dairy cows below the place?

It is dried cured out paint from the robot painters

  22. Doodah says:

There is more danger from the fumes of uncured paint coming out of Guardian than fumes off of cured paint.Once this kind of paint cures out there is nothing left but solids. Most of what they are spraying is probably waterborne anyways. The industry is leaning more to waterborne paint last few years. If any one wants to know my first hand knowledge leave emaill address.

  23. nighthawk says:

I can only see about 41 seconds of video but it is longer.
I don’t have any sound, so apparently there is some narration?

    RVC,
Looks like one of those comments is approved.

    Doodah,
I probably agree with you about Guardian.
But waste/leaching from Maxy Flat was dealt with in a similar manner for a while
and it too was waterborne (right up into the atmosphere!).

I’ve said it for years, and I’ll continue to stick by this comment:
They have selected a very bad location to build the new schools.
Schools should be located away from industrial areas.

  24. nighthawk says:

    RVC,
I don’t think your Dad would have lied to you to get you to drink milk ;) but maybe he was mislead about the radioactive rain/snow being caused by the Nuke testing.

I too was told not to eat snow or drink rain water, but I was told that it was because of the evaporators being used over at Maxey Flats (NECo “Nuclear Engineering” at the time).

Lena fought a good fight, but she is gone to be with the Father and Roy. It was a very peaceful passing…surrounded by her family singing the Lord’s praises”!

Please lift this family in prayer as they deal with this terrible tragedy in the loss of both Roy and Lena Boyd.
