MOREHEAD NEWS INTERNET POLL ‘STUCK’?–UPDATED 6/25/10

LAST WEEK’S QUESTION ON THE BIBLE HAS BEEN THERE FOR MONTHS NOW. QUESTION: “Should KY allow an elective class on the Bible to be taught”, YES 70% NO 30%. My pastor brought this to our attention over a month ago and it’s still being published for at least 2 months now? Also the ‘new’ question on Arizona’s immigration law is so old news it would not be relevant as even the TV barely mentions it anymore.—-here it is the end of June now and more than 3 weeks after I wrote this original article it is STILL on the front page? Unreal.
Well by citation of this verse you are in violation of Matt 7:1
“Judge not that ye be not Judged”, not everyone that has posted on here
posts things of a backbite type nature, & without careful consideration of
context and audience for the various books/letters of the bible (like the church of Ephesus) you can come away with impressions of contradictions. A whole bunch of the
bible is not literal but figurative and expressions are used to convey concepts
that are to be taken as expressions and not a fixed “law of physics”.
Commandments are commandments, law is law, parable is parable, advice is
advice. “It is a shame to even speak of that which is done by them in secret” is one of
my favorite verses that points out a contradiction in the ethics of bible. Thou shalt not suffer a [poisoner] to live” is another ( but but but what about “thou shalt not murder”?)
Clearly we are to become experienced enough to judge a righteous judgment and not a blanket one (stereotype) when it comes to speaking of others or groups.
There is a bible thumper’s corner on here somewhere that was on the front page?

and it’s still ’stuck’ how long will ‘they’ try to keep this ‘poll’ on the front page. I don’t think anyone even bothers to change it. Use to be weekly.
how many months has that ‘poll’ been ’stuck’ now? July 2nd still there. Almost humerous.
