STAR FUNDRAISER MAY 16th- ADVANCED AUTO
By Kat • May 11th, 2010 • Category: ArticlesThe fundraiser for STAR is May 16th- Sun at Advanced Auto in Morehead. I currently have four people helping but need a lot more!! I also need help getting signs made people can hold to advertise. I think we are also going to try and collect supplies especially since the recent flood- dog food, blankets, sheets, bowls, collars, leashes, toys, etc anything dog is needed!!! Donations will go towards vet bills, transport, etc. Please let me know asap if you can or would be willing to help! We plan on getting started 10 am sun morning. We also need someone to bring a water hose and sprayer.Sponges, buckets, soap are provided.
Any ideas on signs or come up with our own sign ideas?
I have an idea for a sign.
How about a likeness of a certain person looking down upon the pound
with a big grin on his face while the dogs are swimming for their lives?
You remember the guy who said he would “relocate the pound if elected”
during the public forum held prior to the general election in 2006, right?
Could put big letters on the sign that says
S.T.A.R.
