KAT’S SCANNER SCOOP MON-SUN JAN 25-31ST/UPDATED SUN 7:39P.M.

TUES: 6:55a.m. 12oo units toned out for a mutual aid response to help out Bath County with a structure fire.
TUES: 1p.m. EMS and 1400 units responding to a 50+ y/o female on Little Perry Road, complaining of right side pain.
TUES: Around 10:15p.m. Several units responding to an accident on 519, someone said a cruiser slid out of the road.
TUES: Before noon, any cop in the Dry Creek area, asked to be on the look-out for a young male, that was threatening suicide.
TUES: morning, several accidents, including one of I-64 around the 147 eastbound. 2 patients transported.
TUES: 4p.m. EMS responding signal 9 to a direct call in from the Women’s Clinic on Sun Street. EC unit notified dispatch at 4:07p.m. that they were transporting patient to St. Claire, signal 9.
TUES: Cops en-ROUTE to look for a suspicious male.
TUES: 9:43p.m. EMS responding to Christian Street to a 57 y/o male, heart condition and diabetes, is having trouble with his legs, not able to walk very well.
TUES: 10:05p.m. Cops en-Route to Interstate Mobile Home Park, currently known as North Park. Person called and said their mother was inside a bedroom and they knew she was in there but not answering the door. EMS has been called and put on stand-by in case they are needed.—–female was fine, she has to get up early in the morning and was ignoring everyone.
WED:12:13a.m. EMS responding to Rodburn Hollow Road to an apartment building. Neighbor’s alarm going off and person said that the woman said she needed an ambulance. Unknown reason.
WED: direct call in from Life Care Center for a patient in respiratory failure, signal 9 run there and to St.Claire.
WED: EMS called to Slone’s Market to a male outside the front door, pale, dizzy, etc. just a guess but it could be shock from the prices inside?
WED: 5:51p.m. EMS responding to Clearfield Manor to a female. Social worker on site and said person needs to be evaluated at the hospital.
WED: 8:15p.m. EMS responding to Branham Avenue to a 60 y/o female having chest pain.
WED:11:20p.m. EMS and police responding to a residence on Rose Road just off Dry Creek. Male called said female was unresponsive and not breathing. Caller laid the phone down and dispatch could hear him in the background. 11:44p.m. EMS took patient to St. Claire in full code and asked for St. Claire to be notified. —Female was Sharon McBrayer Charles, wife of Jeff Charles. Funeral pending at Northcutt and Son. Interment at McBrayer Cemetery. Yesterday was her birthday and ‘technically’ that is when she passed but was not pronounced deceased until after midnight. Prayers for the family. She was a mail carrier in Morehead.
WED: around 11:25p.m. KSP was in pursuit of a red jeep with an out of state tag on US60 and lost site of them around the Haldeman area. S4 is trying to help, they said coming off 174 towards US60.
THURS: 1:50a.m. S.O. unit asked to assist KSP on Cranston near Tilden Hogge School. Semi on it’s side in the ditch. No one injured.
THURS: 10:46a.m. Male trapped on the top floor of the elevator at the pedestrian bridge on the St. Claire side. Unit on scene had the key and got him out in a few seconds.—they can’t get the elevator to work so caution tape was wrapped around the top floor.
THURS: 11:54p.m. EMS responding to Dry Creek Road to a male complaining of a headache and trouble breathing.
THURS: 4:52p.m. Units on scene at Mr. Gatti’s. Someone threw a cigarette outside the building and it caught the mulch around the building on fire and now there is fire inside the walls of the building. One unit said he could see smoke from his residence. Building has been evacuated. —4:58p.m. Units were told to downgrade response.
THURS: Seems like half of Rowan County is in jail again for drugs, driving on a suspended, etc. Cops are having a car towed right now from the end of Roxanne Street in Pretty Valley as the owner goes off to the pokey.
FRI: 2:31a.m. Two more dopies in the pokey. Possession of marijuana, drug paraphilia, etc.
FRI: In the week morning hours, around 5 something? EMS and 100 units responded to a residence on Whittaker Street to a toddler that had their leg stuck in the folding section of a recliner. Child was fine and there was no transport.
FRI: Around mid-day a call went out for a 4 year old they thought was choking on a sucker. Child was breathing and talking.
SAT: 10:22a.m. EMS, 1100 and First Responders responding to Emory Branch to a female with renal failure, very lethargic and not responding well.
SAT: morning, cops arrested another female. One they were looking for had pajama’s on and walked into the door at Slone’s Market. Her and a male took off in their car on Main St.
Fri into SAT: Lot of people in the pokey on outstanding warrants, etc. Currently at 10:19a.m. cops have a male with a warrant of out Broward County, Florida and Florida said to hold him and they would extradite. Hummm?? For Florida to want him held, he must have been a bad bad boy.
SAT: 2:40p.m. EMS responding to the 1500 block of Caudill Street to a female having severe difficulty breathing, temp, back pain.
SAT into SUN, Several people taken to the pokey, drugs, drunk, etc.
SUN: Just before noon, cop responded to 100 block of Rawcel Heights to a lady that goes to our church. This is the 3rd time in less than a year that her car has been hit and the the second time that it was a hit and run, just sitting in front of her apartment. Then just about 30 minutes later, EMS went after her next door neighbor.
SUN: Around 7:20p.m. EMS responding to a female on Little Lane with leg problems.


That was my mom on Emory Branch again. Seems like she has a revolving door to St. Claire this past month.
Are they sure the person had there pj’s on? Some street clothes look like jammies anymore! LOL
