KAT’S SCANNER SCOOP WED OCT 8TH+POSSIBLE DOA?
By Kat • Oct 7th, 2008 • Category: Scanner ScoopSeveral brush fires breaking out here and there keeping the firemen/women busy.
Several ambulance runs. TUES: One for a woman stung by a bee and was having trouble breathing and then chest pain. Another around 11:15p.m. Tuesday night for a male in Eagle View that stepped on someone this afternoon.
My step-brother works for the city and him along with another said that ‘a body’, had been found dead near the city garage area? This is adjacent to the recycling center on Triplett? Did anyone hear anything about it?

About the “body”, I heard that a man shot himself either there or in his apartment at Triplett, but no other details. I was at the public library at the time and the person talking seemed upset. I don’t know anything else. Maybe the Morehead Snews will have something?

Thanks Clearfield Cat. Always appreciate another pair of ears. Starting today, WED someone will have to take up the slack if they don’t care. I won’t know for a couple days if I’ll be able to put anything in at the new place or not.

The suicide rate is up as people turn their anger inward instead of warming up the
tar and feathers for those with “golden parachutes” sucking the productive
life blood out of our grandchildren like vampires.

Just as I was writing this a report of bricks falling off the scaffolding at the Pathways building
resulting in a male being hit in the head and injured just come across the scanner.
MPD is on the scene and EMS is responding.
I don’t manage to hear much on the scanner anymore.
I heard a coroner call to Tunnel Cut Loop on Tuesday or Wednesday in
addition to whatever was going on at the Marina, Kat reported on some
of the details, and I seem to remember a “full code” from earlier that day.
Maybe TechKnomen wouldn’t mind helping out a little over the next week?
I suspect that he stays pretty busy and know that I’m asking A LOT from him here,
but just some big things like Wrecks and Fires (a couple of hours after the fact)
being added would help us out here.
Did you get your scanner yet Clearfield Kat?
Maybe you could help out a little and we can keep the Scanner Scoop going until Kat
can resume posting it here.
Curt07 and I talked some on the old site about the possibility of him helping out some,
but he didn’t have a scanner at the time…
If Curt has a scanner, I’m sure that he would be glad to help out a little.
Of course there are some nighthawks who haven’t posted here in a long, long, time…
at least not since I received a visit from an official-official who wanted me to stop
writing, and I declined, so the other nighthawks might not want to leave footprints
in the form of IP addresses as they hold jobs that gives me some insight of what
goes on behind the scenes of the political spectrum of government…

Haven’t got my scanner yet, had an outrageous phone bill that I had go take care of first. As soon as I get the scanner, I’ll let you know. Sorry.

That’s about all I can ask for as I’m staying busied with a couple of handfuls myself.
Truth known, She probably will only be away less then a week… but we could end up
doing this a little longer, so any help you can offer is appreciated.

Request for an ambulance to meet and intercept with a vehicle transporting a person losing
a large amount of blood. Vehicle is coming from the around 377 Cranston Area.
I can’t really comment on what I thought I heard was the cause of the injury as the
dispatcher first said he had difficulty breathing and then gave the cause, and then
said “correction patient is bleeding profusely”.
