FISH OIL! hemp oil! Borage oil !

    Get away from MSG Aspartame(nutrasweet)
all hydrogenated and cheaper vegetable oils
    (too abundant in American die-ts)
white death sugar(even tougher to do)
and anything that is associated with provoking inflammation

Fibromyalgia and MS and other nervous system disorders
like the shrinking brains observed in the last few decades
just about has to be diet related. We need more “essential” fatty acids
and much less “other” fats generally recognized as safe high profit junk!

Symptoms should be improved and maybe reversed but
I stay away from the “healed” word as alot of conditions people
have could be said to be subcronic stuff they just live with or
say is “part of getting old” and other rationalizations.

I am no model of health myself but I have improved things
and delayed some of the inevitable for who knows how long?

about SIX average capsules of fish oil is what I have seen recommended
for most folks to fight inflamation and improve the fat ratios in the
diet. You will take awhile to get used to the burb, or find some that
you don’t burp as much with.

Liquid B vitimins (5bucks) Folate, niacin(not time released) also might
    improve symptoms or prevent onset.

OF COURSE if it does help, do not be surprised if the
    “Sufferers” of fibromyalgia or MS
try to say that “well, you didn’t really have it”

  2. [(Required Voluntary Compliance)] Says:

3 grams of these essential oils is what I have seen doctors
say they take a day whether they recommend them to their patients
or not? That is a bit puzzeling ain’t it? Oh I take this but I won’t cant
    or don’t recommend it?

  3. [(Required Voluntary Compliance)] Says:

I WOULD BET that a ancient chinese herbal guide would recommend
“tea” of (organic) HEMP/ pot with all its fatty acids and amino acids and enzimes
drinking (NOT SMOKING) that would not only provide some pain
management but would give the body building blocks for repair of the damage
to the mylene sheath and MS is one of those spectrum of nerve
sheath disorders too often seen these daze with expose to solvents
and junk that is transported to our fat cells and the body
may turn and attack cells that have these substances in them
degrading the nerve? OF course you cold still smoke the
left over hemp/pot leaves and buds from the tea OR
better yet put it in a salad dressing or right on salid
    instead of parsley or such.

  4. [(Required Voluntary Compliance)] Says:

smoking pot could damage the mylene sheeth maybe but
eating and or drinking the tea provides more of the plant
compounds, I have eaten a couple of pounds of the THC
free seeds, they are yummy like walnuts, mmmmmmmm good.

  5. [(Required Voluntary Compliance)] Says:

    10-10-10 fertilizer(for example) is 10percent nitrogen-10percent potash/potassium & 10percent phosphorus so WHAT IS THE OTHER 70% supposedly “inert material”???
    Well SEVERAL years ago
I heard a plant manager interviewed on “For the People” radio network
with Chuck Harder, I think it was, and this guy from “Bay Zinc” of Seattle area
said that their left over slag ore after they are done extracting zinc and whatever
else goes in a railroad hopper silo as “industrial waste” and it comes out
the bottom as “fertilizer additive” complete with arsenic and whatever else
isotopes of uranium and lead or whatever.

As a bit of a label reader I have even seen some stuff that lists
a small % as “unknown” and I guess that is legal if it is not a
retail consumer item, to be used as industrial consumables or products.

Plants like Hemp and tobacco and others will “fix” certain minerals out
of the soil, tobacco has been shown to actually extract uranium and polonium and
    such in small levels but over a few decades it likely accumulates in certain tissues;

    I point all this out to bring up the question;

How many of the sufferers of MS smoked pot or tobacco that was
grown with fertilizer and or pesticides?

The fatty insulation of our nervous systems need the rebuilding blocks
of essential fatty acids for maintainence, IF those fatty acids, oils and
such are pal-looted to with such things as solvents or other caustic chemicals
that can get into the fatty tissues and that would include the sheeths of our
nervs and brain, it could cause our immune system to attack these cells
to try to evacuate the problems? the only solution flush out the
    bad pal-loot-ed junk with organically grown stuff, walnuts, hemp, borage;
fish oil(certified/purified). IF you wanna flush out your car’s oil you use
a patrolium distilate solvent to disolve the sludge, we can’t do that but
you can flood the system with the building blocks you need that are not
laced with junk, limit exposure to plasicisors, use glass or wooden utensils
no “non-stick” cookware (with harmful fumes)
make someone else pump your gas, quit using oven cleaners and ammonia and
use your head, spray paint, fingernail polish, spray toilet and tub cleaners,
soaps with phalates it them, bug spray, and on and on,
YOU KNOW stuff with the label so small you can hardly read it even with
    hi-res 20-20 vision.

by the way I am a conservative-get the government out of our lives-owns a
    early edition of “Conscious of a Conservative” Goldwater novella;
This is how bad it has got, that the fascists are passing all sorts of
    immunity-from-lawsuits riders on unrelated “bills”/resolutions.
WITH sell out demo-rats co-operation! The wee people have
become of little importance as the government apparently
makes more from financial shenanagans, over 65%, according to
the likes of Walter Burien, so we are without the clout of such
corporotist cronies. IKE seemed to warn us of such complexes
if he was not too late? DO what you can and HOPE grace is enough to
    take care of the rest.

  7. Kat Says:

Thanks RVC for the input. I have been looking into Vitamin D a lot recently(it of course, is actually a hormone, not really a Vitamin but that’s another story), anyway, it took me months to convince my doc to do a Vitamin D level as a low level has been shown to be directly related to an increase in glucose levels, (hello? diabetes is worse), low levels have been confused with the aches and pains of Fibromyalgia and MS, etc., etc., the list just went on and on. Well my level came back this past Thursday as <7.0! YIKES Normal is 38.0-100.0. I’m allergic to the sun and never out in it, I never drink milk, cheese, yogurt, etc. 3 other professionals are endorsing immediately on a presciption dose of 50,000 IU’s because over the counter would just take too long. Anyway, my doc doesn’t think it’s ‘THAT’ important and wants to ‘THINK’ about it. I’ve just been taking 4,000 IU’s over the counter twice a day to get something in me. I take a really good Fish Oil tablet and the #1 so called ‘natural way’ to get Vitamin D, other than the sun, etc., is Cod Liver Oil. YUCK!

  8. nighthawk Says:

I have started the fish oil and multivitamins/multimineral (1000 MG 3 x day Fish Oil & Multivitamins/multiminerals x2 daily fish) but I can’t find any Hemp Tea.
Any ideas for a good clean local source for Hemp tea.
I don’t want the stuff that makes you wacky or anything, just good old herbal hemp tea.

  9. nighthawk Says:

    That should have read …((1000 MG 3 x day Fish Oil & Multivitamins/multiminerals x2 daily)…
I don’t know how i worked the extra fish into the comment.

  10. nighthawk Says:

I would really like to find the hemp tea bottled somewhere like at a better grocer or supermarket.
I suppose the packets would do in the winter time, but knowing me, I’d probably be more apt to
drink it on ice on extremely hot days (sugarless under the hot sun) when the sweat is pouring
off from me like I’ve sprang a leak or something.
Of course I generally drink teas during cold weather sugarless, but don’t have a clue as to what
a hemp tea might taste like… other green herbal teas I suppose would be comparable taste-wise.

  11. nighthawk Says:

On that multivitamin/multiminerals, I’m thinking about cutting back to 1 a day on that, but on the fish oil gelcaps I’m not sure to take as directed or to increase.
It says Natural Omega-3 FATTY ACIDS.
Is 1000 MG the average dose of Fish Oil?
If so, you think maybe i should work my way up to SIX (2 softgels 3xday)?

  12. [(Required Voluntary Compliance)] Says:

hempusa.com? I think has powder seeds and oil,
You cannot make “legal” tea that I have seen, it is a old pot smokers’
trick as you can get high from the tea and then smoke the leaves
/buds after you dry them out and get high again(supposedly)
(any of the stuff that is DEA certified THC free is ok to use without
getting loopy or whatever.) Liquid b and liquid vits and minerals are
supposedly more absorb-able, alot of b-vitimins will cause you to
bulk up in muscle some so watchout, there if you want to lose weight
and not gain muscle mass, limit the b-vitimins to the RDA and not 9000%
    or whatever.

The brownies I have heard about would also give you most of
the plant sterols and proteins and fats, but some compounds are destroyed
or altered by heat, that is why you do not cook with hemp oil but
you can make salad dressings using it instead of olive oil.

(another reason to make hemp illegal as it would compete with olive oil on
    certan uses besides cooking)

  13. nighthawk Says:

I couldn’t get hempusa.com to pull up but hempusa.org loaded for me. You can’t have legal hemp tea, but hemp coffee is OK? how so?
Prices seem a little steep don’t they?

  14. Kat Says:

Fibromyalgia Segment to Air this Saturday

Fibromyalgia and the National Fibromyalgia Association are the focus of a new 5-minute segment on the national television series “Today’s Family.” The segment, which is a part of the Touching Hearts and Changing Lives Series, will air nationally on Oxygen TV and ABC Family Channel, and on several regional news networks. So far, the show has aired multiple times in Washington D.C., Portland, Oregon and Boston, Massachusetts. This Saturday, September 13, 2008, the segment airs nationally on Oxygen.

The program will educate viewers on fibromyalgia and how the National Fibromyalgia Association (NFA) is working to help individuals who suffer from this painful, life-altering disorder. The segment features Lynne Matallana, president and founder of the NFA, who saw 37 doctors before being diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 1995, and Dr. Patrick Wood, a respected authority on the cause and treatment of fibromyalgia who has been recognized by the National Institutes of Health for his innovative research.

“We are pleased to have been spotlighted in this documentary that will reach millions of viewers nationwide,” says Matallana. “The segment is an excellent avenue to bring hope to people who suffer from fibromyalgia and to educate the general public about this complex disorder.”

    Airtimes are:

6 a.m. Eastern Time and Pacific Time
    5 a.m. Central Time
    4 a.m. Mountain Time
We hope you will record the show or tune it!

  15. (required voluntary compliance) Says:

The claim is made that this Canadian Hemp SEED is THC free and that there is none in the plant BUT I asked a rep from the company on a radio interview, he said it is not genetically modified(rDNA) OR “washed” to get out the THC so do not ask me how they do that unless it is somehow selectively breed out of the seeds but not the flowers.

  16. (required voluntary compliance) Says:

the tea is made from the flowers and leaves obviously?
“coffee” from the powered seeds with out the oil?

  17. (required voluntary compliance) Says:

I can’t remember the price but a pouch of hulled seeds (with oil) is
avaliable in Lexingtion at at least 2 locations. Seems like it
    was 8.oo for a 12oz bag?

  18. (required voluntary compliance) Says:

THe “CLAIMS” are made that the oil has a balanced ratio of
GLA and other fatty acids considered Omega 3 6 &9
I take some “Borage” oil as it is supposed to be “activates” so
that it can be used by the body more easily.

I have also found cheep powered ginger(not organic) for
.99cents and I put this in beverages like
Lemonaide or “all natural” pop and it helps with
digestion “health in the navel” eh?

Regularly poping “Jarrodophulus”? a capsuled wide
spectrum of friendly gut bugs not just Acidophilous
biphodium? Not sure on the spellings Longium and things
like L. casei, several sybiotic bacterium.

There is also “essential enzimes” in capsuls
that can be taken to replenish those.

So much of our processed foods have antibacterial substances
in them that can kill the natural flora of our almentari tissues
and the irradiated and highly cooked foods have almost no
enzimes that our body must then produce to extract nutrition
and energy from which is theorised to drain us of engergy and
tax a already stressed out immune system.

Combine this with exposures to solvants and plasticisors and al sorts
of stresses without the benifit of exercise or physical activity and
our obesity epidemic snoballs along with all these weird
syndromes like MS, fibro, thyroid disorders, cronic fatigue,
brain shrinkage, depression, “buy polar” you name it, it is a boon
for Big Pharma and the big tabaccer that helps in the brain research to
get us addicted to their processed products; and thanks to
their lobby and campain finance they have immunites from lawsuits
tacked on to unrelated legislation. Ain ‘meriKa great !?
