NightHawk’s Nest - Feedback Page

By nighthawk • Jul 8th, 2007 • Category: Opinions and Editorials

The original Feedback page went down along with the old Plone software based site and is lost for the meanwhile.
.

So here is a brand new one to take it’s place.
Hopefully Dave can help me get a copy of the original.

What Theology have you "bought" into?
perhaps we need a thread on biblical issues
or even several, "Bible Thumpers’ Corner"
    "Theology Today"

    "Does the ‘Devil’ Exist?"
    a few thread title suggestions…

  2. [] Says:

i always thot of nighthawk to exist as a cartoon character of sorts.
i mean not real but voicing others opinon’s when thay was to meek to say it.
maybe his theology has yet to be written leaving him theologyless.
what dose all them red lines under my words mean?
    []

  3. [] Says:

that werent ment to offend anybodie but more out of respect.
you to nowe waht I mena.

  4. nighthawk Says:

Those red lines (using Firefox?) are supposed to point out misspelled words.
Sometimes I wish life was as simple as being merely a cartoon character,
but for the most part (I’m at a loss for words…) I guess you are mostly right.
I tread into areas as a nighthawk where many often will not go public…
Mainly voicing concerns that I keep hearing… Keeping sources confidential… etc…

    On to the theology:
It’s hard to define, BUT I don’t buy into the 501c3’s (government regulated churches)
and don’t really agree with the STATE sticking their noses into [God]’s business while
trying to keep [God] out of the business of the state.
How do they (the STATE) figure they have a right to license or tax creations of the Creator?

I only posted this hear because I lost 3 or 4 posts in a row
I was triing to make on this recient book I found that
goes through the bible and points out all the places
where serpents, vipers, and even dragon refers to
people not some "fallen angel" it makes a very convincing
case that the lust of the flesh, or our own fallen
nature is "the advisary" that has been personified
into this perverted hollywood hyped "devil"

I wanted to suggest a thread on current theological issues
    these daze that is all.

I wrestle with all sorts of philosophicl and theological
issues that most won’t examine and expect to be spoon fed
a church about to feel safe in their faith.

Some of us are more of a Berean that is we study to
rightly devide the word not to sow division or discord.

We have to be on guard as it says in corinthians
"why do we stand in jeopardy every hour"
we have to be on the lookout for how traditions
have been established to blind us to simple perspectives
that used to be widely known but thank to influences with
mutigeneration agendas these commonly accepted "truths"
    have been swept away.

How many were taught in school that these several states
were to be the new Israel? There was a time when alot of
bible thumpers thought and taught this.

That certainly would be a road block to supporting the
current "state of Israel" so that concept had to be erased
from the pool of common thought.

IF influence was wrot on say the Oxford English Press
to publish certan works from C.I. Scofield who was
ghost writing for his sponsors and this new
dispensationalism was trickeled into all the seminaries
starting around 1840s, can we not see how 160 years
of influence on peoples mind sets has altered folks
perceptions of key biblical and political concepts.

  6. nighthawk Says:

What will we call this thread?
Give me a title and opening and I’ll open a new article.

I’m not real good about trying to get new articles started from scratch?
Or by trying to adlib from a suggestion (from my past efforts or attempts.)

Just throw me up a little comment like:
    ———-
    Title:

    Article:
    ———-
and I’ll make it into an article with proper credits given.

  7. Requried Voluntary Compliance Says:

    How about
    "Every wind of Doctrine"
    or
    "Bible Thumpers Corner"

    [Something different than the
    prayer page]
" a page to wrestle with
    scriptural or doctrine issues that
are being thrown about these days.

  8. [(Required Voluntary Compliance)] Says:

"trying to keep [God] out of the business of the state.
How do they (the STATE) figure they have a right to license or tax creations of the Creator?" WELL that is the point isn’t it congregations have
bit the carrot, or chasing it, creating a "image" or artificial person
(corporation) so that all donations are considered tax deductable and the
corporation is eligible to borrow with or without usury (also a no no, if
someone is charging you usury they are not your brother, brother).
Some banks only loan to their friends anyway, finding any glitch to
keep credit/debt out of potential competition of their cronies in the establishment
this is helped by some of the competion in local banks now but the crunch
    further curbs it)
Verily I say shall they reap their reward?

Now my sentiment is that churches should get out of debt
    and

  9. [(Required Voluntary Compliance)] Says:

The corporation can be dissolved and the assets divided and sold for a token amount
to trustworthy members, decons, assistant preachers, but the
"vow" of poverty many ministers are supposedly under means
that there may be legal implications messes to be worked out for
their elderly security, since many will not recieve SS payments even
if they paid in. Flim flam aint it? There are lots of situations and
lots of federal funny money to sway congregations to get in bed
with the government like many do when they beg for a "marriage license"
instead of take each other in Holy Matrimony. Thus by known
conventions they have declared them selves to be intermarried and
their offspring to be misogenated and therefor only eligible for statuetory
"citizenship" and not state Citizenship or freeman status with un-alienable rights
Quite a web of constructive fraud eh?

I would "pay" a silver dollar for a old history book like I had in the late 70s
that only printed the 1st section of the 14th amendment leaving
out the part about no one
    can question the "national debt" ;

    (post Lincoln’s War oppression der
so much for the 1st amendment eh?
Find me a article from the 1880s where
the debt was questioned in print out side
some rouge anon pampleteer. the press has
    been controlled ever since)

  10. nighthawk Says:

If you remember the title/publisher of the book and its assumed education level,
I might be able to save you a dollar if water or smoke damage isn’t too bad.
Don’t know for sure how many I have been able to salvage, or might still be salvageable.
Even some of the best books to show for examples have been stored in less then
desirable places… When the teachers said they were discarding I tried to get a couple
of each level, and I think the same books were used county wide back in those days.
I can look and see what is left or somewhat usable.
    On to the other things;
I don’t know if that was an educated guess, or if You and I pretty much see things from
the same perspective. I don’t expect many others will understand what was written above.

  11. required voluntary compliance Says:

I gave up "Journalism" because you are supposed to write at a 6th grade level
on a mass scale dose not this "dumb down" everybody?

One reason why the net is valuable is that folks can seek out stuff at their
own level of understanding, using catch phrases from a political movement
or a concept, you might be surprised at what sites pop up if using certian
phrases "TechKnomen" has used in the past on here.

AND certain other blogs have went down for whatever reason
after a year or two co-incidently?

I am not sure what some are still up?
the payoff was too low? or priceless?

  12. required voluntary compliance Says:

Well I didn’t give up "Journalism" you actually have to do
something before you can give it up,
I feel more like Lee Majors’ side kick in his Stuntman
TV series, the guy had taken 2 semesters of something
in a different major at any number of colleges so he
was a "expert" on anything. I am just "dangerous" in
a wide range of subjects and just smart enuff to know
how dumb I am, so there. I said it ‘fur sumun else diyud?

  13. [] Says:

"certain other blogs have went down for whatever reason"
Save what you want from the ones that are still there, they might be gone tomorrow.
People are pulling the plug mainly due to spambots, but a few are pulling the plug
to save up to rebuild and relocate.

  14. TechKnomen Says:

well it looks like something is going on
I have had numerous posts dissappear for
no reason and am shut out on Morgan Minute too?
Wake up and smell the facism?

  15. nighthawk Says:

It looks like it is fixed? I don’t know…
Drove for 8 hours yesterday, and went to sleep when I made it in.
Looks like it’s all fixed now though.
