STAR, SAVING THE ANIMALS OF ROWAN COUNTY
By Kat • Aug 14th, 2008 • Category: ArticlesPlease do whatever you can to help these animals. I just logged on and there is a kitten named “JellyBean” that was thrown over the fence of the dog pound and was hurt, but will heal with some time, love and tenderness. Please consider adopting a ‘forever friend’. It just breaks my heart to see these pictures knowing how much they long for a safe place to curl up and call home and a gentle hand to pet them. While doing your Christmas shopping please don’t forget to pick up a bag of dog food, cat food, etc., and drop it off at one of the animal hospitals or if you have unneeded blankets, etc., the dog pound can always use them, or simply make a donation of money or whatever you can to help out the animals that won’t be having a Christmas with a nice family. Thanks.

Also you can go to your nearest nursing home, which happens to be LifeCare here in Morehead and ask for a list of people that don’t have family come visit, etc. and just send a card to say someone cares and is thinking about them. Our church goes over every Monday night for a service at Life Care and there are patients their whom have NEVER had anyone come visit them. That is heart breaking.
