KAT’S SCANNER SCOOP SAT JULY 5TH

Cops were certainly busy last night and into the wee hours of the morning going to complaints of fireworks.  Too bad they won’t come into the county to help us out.  

1:48a.m. Cops were called out to Sharkey for an assault and the cop arrived on the scene and said there was blood all over the porch and everywhere else.  EMS went after him with lacerations to the head, chin, bleeding from the nose and a place on his back. –Male I heard was transported to UK at 3:36a.m.—  Then around 2:50a.m. they found a female that had been assaulted.  Even as late as 6:20a.m. this morning, the cops were still on the scene.  They know who did the assault and they were in a black Dodge.

Reports on Sea’s Branch of a deer laying in the road.  Cop found it and it was already dead.

2:50a.m. Took a nut in for operating on a suspended, DUI 3rd, and a whole slew of charges.
