Domestic Violence Emergency Service of Gateway, Inc.
Our Mission:
To provide safe, temporary shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children
Our staff will provide focused, responsive services that will empower victims and educate the public regarding the impact of domestic violence.
Our staff and Board of Directors work toward the establishment of a society where violence is considered abnormal and is not tolerated.
Your Mission:
We are always in need of laundry detergent for our shelter residents to use while they stay with us. Your challenge for the Charity Parade will be to bring one jug or box of laundry detergent to our drop-off site, which is Papa John’s Pizza at the Patrick Center on Flemingsburg Road. The donations can be left with staff from Papa John’s at any time during the hours of 10 am-1:30 am each day. There is a login sheet for you to sign. Remember to sign this sheet and take your receipt slip with you.
If you would like a tax receipt, please leave your name, address, and a record of the donated item, and we will mail you one.
