Charity Fair: The Mission of Christian Social Services

Christian Social Services is a nonprofit organization of committed Christians, along with others, who share a similar vision.  We work in unity with those in need, especially individuals and families in crisis or emergency situations achieve self-sufficiency.

We strive to exemplify the Christian example of love, compassion, dignity, and empathy.  Through our programs of assistance, we address the spiritual, emotional, social and intellectual needs of those we serve regardless of religious affiliation.

We minister in a spirit of respect for the people and culture of Appalachia, specifically Rowan, Elliott, and Morgan counties of eastern Kentucky.  We encourage individuals to assist, nurture, educate and learn from one another.  As advocates for the people we serve, we strive to enhance cooperation within the community.  All of this is done in Christian love.

Our office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10:00 - 4:30 and Saturday from 10:00 - 3:00. The teams can drop off stuff anytime during our office hours.

Location: 1446 East Main St.

Charity Parade and Fair: We would just like two bottles of shampoo to give to our clients.
