By dave • Jul 12th, 2007 • Category: Site Stuffhey…let’s be clear about something. there was NO effort made to keep you out of here by myself or dhunley. if someone registered your name that you had on the other site, that’s their deal, but it wasn’t us. we didn’t “ban” that name. it is actually registered…it was registered fairly early after the move to the new server. i assumed it was you, and was actually wondering why you were taking so long to say anything.
so…there’s no new world order/orwellian/illuminatti plot to shut you down over here…at least not one cooked up by myself or dhunley…so ease up on the accusations and just enjoy the new site.

SO someone registered my moniker in several variation using a undisclosed email that I never gave out or posted on hear and did you a favor? I did not try to ruin my credibility with ANY reference to the illuminati NWO you did and thinking people can see that technique you just used to belittle me. Why dont you ease up and see it from my perspective for once.
There are those that WORSHIP reason and logic the greek god was Lucifer. If you listen to AFR american Family Radio (88.5fm?) they had a story just today about the congress letting a hindu do the opening prayer this week to 300million gods?
DO you deny the Cardinal Ratzinger called for a New Vorld Order for newyears 2006? Do you say the reporters were telling lies? Why would a pope that had NAZI ties in his youth use the exact phrase that hitler used?
Why would George H. W. Bush use that phrase several times including on sept the 11th 1990, 11 years to the day befor the “new pearl harbor”.
These are fact not theories, if your not suspicious of the astronomical improbabiltiy of the New Yark Lotto Pick 3 comming up 911 on 9/11/02 then yur not paying attention or just not honest with yurself.

i’m right there on board with all the conspiracy theories, so i wasn’t belittling you…just letting you know that no conspiracy was in play to shut you down.
on top of that, as for your registration on this site…
user names/email addresses are not tied together. what i mean is…your moniker was “up for grabs” until someone registered it, and it didn’t matter what email they used to register it. they simply had to use a valid email address. also, i’m thinking that maybe you were just doing something wrong, because there are NOT several variations of that user name registered currently. there are TWO…
right now, someone is registered as TechKnomen and NomenTechK…those are the only 2 variations of your name, and you’ve got one of them. isn’t Techknomen what you were using on the old site? i can’t even remember, actually.
anyway…there’s only 17 people who have even signed up so far. most are simply reading the site at this point, and not commenting.

Responding to your respons post that I just now saw:
EVEN if someone registered my moniker using another email then I should have been free to use my email to register a variation of
TechKnomen but the software says that my email has already been registered.
That just aint so.
I used another new email to register mthope as my ISP went changed. SO without going thru all the details I changed the screen name to TechkNomen.
I just went thru my email even back thu the bulk to make sure and no email to register has ever been sent with the password to my original accout for tecknomen it is blocked somehow from me creating an accout using it. And that is fact not something I “did wrong”.
I only went to use the new email as a last resort, I was not even gonna open that box witht the new ISP I had to get.

well, that is a bit clearer. it is saying that SOMEONE has already registered here using your email address…NOT your screen name.
well, i can easily figure that out, if you’d like. if you’d like to send me a message at dave@morganminute.com, with the email address in question, i can see which user name is currently being used with that address. just let me know.

at least for a while. we are leaving the server that we are currently hosted on, so i will have to shut down this version at some point after we make the move.
the new server is running different software than what we use here, so a straight migration won’t work, either.
once the new site goes live, i will post a link to something along the lines of http://old.rowanreview.com, and all of this material will stay available, probably for a month or so after the move. after that, we’ll have to turn off everything over here and go strictly with the new home.
what this means is that if you have a piece of writing on here that you are particularly fond of, you should copy and paste it into a Word document or something, so that you can keep it. i’ll do my best to archive everything, but sadly, i just don’t think we can hang on to everything.
Well I have seen old sites archived indefinately using free servers and such

TK…everything IS archived. i have the complete database, and as you’ll see in the thread started by nighthawk, maybe one day i’ll be able to bring most of that stuff back, but i don’t have the time to fool with it for now.
i’m not sure if you are trying to accuse me of lying about posting a link back to the old site. i sure, sure hope not, or my ‘kindly’ tone with you is fixin’ to take a turn for ‘not so kindly’.
if you’ve been around here, you’ll SEE that i even posted an article on THIS site explaining that there WAS a link to the old site…http://old.rowanreview.com…and, through the good graces of those involved, it stayed live a lot longer than i thought it would.
so…no conspiracy here…no attempt to shut you down. so find another issue. please.
