Where’s Paula? Cause here’s some more fools :)

By dhunley • Jul 6th, 2007 • Category: Opinions and Editorials

Paula wanted us to accept that WE were causing climate change and, thus, WE had to do something.  Of course, their “do something” always involves putting more taxes on us or taking away our freedoms.  She said “bring out the fools” who didn’t believe WE were causing “global warming”.  Well…here’s a couple more fools…lol.

New Danish research shows that large parts of Greenland were covered by forest. This was discovered by analysing fossil DNA which had been preserved under the kilometre-thick icecap. The DNA-traces are likely close to 450,000 years old, and that means that Greenland was also covered in a large ice sheet 125,000 years ago during the earth’s last warm period, Eem. This was while the climate was 5 degrees warmer than the interglacial period we currently live in. Credit: Drawing of reconstruction of ancient Greenland by Bent J?rdig Knudsen

Also… That signifies that there was ice there during the Eemian interglacial period 125,000 years ago. It means that although we are now confronted with global warming, the whole ice sheet will not melt and bring about the tremendous sea-level rises which have been the subject of so much discussion.

Many of the assertions Gore makes in his movie, ”An Inconvenient Truth,” have been refuted by science, both before and after he made them.

    THANK YOU TECH!…lol…

Tech, I think it’s VERY clear to any reasonable person that all the issues being touted by “modern liberals” are based on ignorance, disinformation, and downright deceit.

If we had an honest press corp maybe (I say MAYBE) we wouldn’t have to be dealing with the presidential candidates we’re faced with—and I’m talking both democrat and republican ones, here.

A half decent reporter could rip to shreds hacks like Gore, Clinton, McCain, Edwards and the rest of that bunch—and Kerry should NEVER have been a serious candidate…and he wouldn’t have been had the press been honest.

BUT, we can only blame the press so much…because most of the issues being touted by modern liberals are self-evidently false and goes against every thing America stands for.
So…dishonest press or not, Americans should keep putting their trust in the ONE thing that has made America better than all other nations past and present…and that thing is FREEDOM!

(that’s why the “insignificant” or alternative media is trouncing the alphabet soup news channels, alot of this command and control old skool networking hasn’t been working for quite a while now, even with sublimninals and fluoride and excitotoxins and such; a bunch of the sheople are bucking the wolves intstead of fainting and being devoured. http://www.google.com/search?q=CIA+%22owns+and+controls%22+William+Colby+media&hl=en&start=20&sa=N

So fluoride is a drug? and if it’s in our drinking water we are being drugged?
DWI Everybody? Have a glass of tap water :D

  8. TechKnomen Says:

X( fluoride is the largest unprescribed medication program in histroy, inspired by sketchy anicdotal compairsons between two towns that had high natural fluoride and low levels in a common drinking water source and their comparitive dental cavities rates. The studies didn’t look at osteoperosis or mottled teeth or even sugar consuptions to justify that fluoride was needed as a public health additive “for the children”

Later research has been done to show that fluoride may only reduce cavities because it messes up the pitutary by saturating the pineal gland and curbing melatonin production which can contribute to obesity and teeth commin in later, thus appearing to reduce cavities at a given age because the teethe are younger, if more brittle and perhaps mottled or chalky.

Even Pregnant women used to be encouraged to get fluoride treatments that resulted in mottled teeth for their infants.

This is promoted so hard because fertiliser, nuke, and aluminum industries all generate flouride that is a industrial waste, and it is far cheeper to dump it in us than to make non-stick flouro-teflon pans or dispose of it in the river and pay EPA fines. i would write more and add links but I am not a site “author” nor will I “request” to be one anymore than I will ask to be a “lodge” memeber X( :D

A bunch of the revolutionary secessionists in 1776-1789 had the battle cry “No King but King Jesus” (Well aware of the scriptures that “rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft”)

(since comments are closed for that thread…)
I have seen this sensible bill of rights passed around for years, a couple of points are well made. I like :
“ARTICLE II: You do not have the right to never be offended. This country is based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone — not just you! You may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc.; but the world is full of idiots, and probably always will be.”

Some people are offended by those that are triing not to offend and force others not to offend eh?
Thomas Paine (athesist/deist , patriot author of “Common Sense”) did have a saying that fits the “thats inappropriate” pollically correct police:

“HE WHO DARES NOT OFFEND CANNOT BE HONEST”-Thomas Paine

As for some of the other “Articles”

The government types need a big dose of VII as they do not have the right to the property (labor taxes) of others!

    On:
ARTICLE III: You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful, do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy.

This comes from the tort reform crowd and is a perversion of several high profile liability lawsuits.

WE SHOULD expect big corporations to produce safer products, McDonald’s should not be allowed to flaunt the law and serve 190degree coffee after repeatedly being warned and cited that it is to be no hotter than 140, then their lawyer ticks off the judge with arrogance and gets ridiculous big ruling to send a message. Talk show hosts distort the story leaving off facts if they knew them and it becomes ammo for the tort reform crowd.

IF the government cannot protect our borders and keep irresponsible licensed creatures inline what good is it for?

What other methods do we have to protect us from bad products designed to reduce liability, sacrifice quality infavor of the shareholders, and rake in repeat customers at the expense of our health and safety?

Big pharma, big tobacco, big agra, big chemical, mega-big insurance and healthcare industry and government have so many lines of cross ownership it is no wunder the mechanisms to protect us are compromised before they are even created, like the FDA for example.
When folks have too many legit claims they tag on legislation to create immunity from lawsuit and
and things like the “vaccine injury fund” good luck.

Personally, on an unscientific based conclusion of course, only upon what I have learned and observed during my short life upon this planet…

Climate Change is a natural occurrence.
I wouldn’t matter if people or dinosaurs were dominating the planet,
    climate change would occur anyway.

Now I’m not a scientist or anything, but I’d think that this "Climate Change" has to do
more with the natural cycle of the rotation of the earth and other planets around the sun.

The planets are going to become closer for years, and then move farther away for years.
And it’s all a natural repetitive cycle. (Like global warming and cooling).

I mean sure we might have done some things to the atmosphere, but nothing more than
meteorites entering the atmosphere would do.
