Attention Morehead Area Charities!

I am contacting you on behalf of http://rowanreview.com, an online magazine in our community. Rowan review wants to have a promotional campaign again in the area to bring people to their webpage and help the community’s charities. Last year they sponsored the Charity Scavenger Hunt and Charity Fair, but this year we are calling it the Charity Parade and Charity Fair.During 10 days over a two week period people would be encouraged to go online to rowanreview.com to receive information about charities and a good deed that they can do for that charity during the period from September 12 to 25th. We will not schedule any activates on weekends this year. A grand prize for going to all the charities would be drawn from the names of all contestants who finished all 10 feats. Coupons will also be used as door prizes for those that attend the Charity Fair on September 27th where the grand prize will be drawn The door prize drawing people have to be present to win their prizes. Individuals or teams can compete.Your responsibility as a charity participating in Feats for Charity would be:1. Write an informational advertisement about your charity and what items are needed by your organization or feats that would be welcomed by your charity. These will be posted on Rowan Review on the day your charity is featured. You should include your hours of operation, address, and include mission statements and pictures if you so wished. Send them to bdcutts@gmail.com. You can use last year’s advertisement if you like.2. Be available for contestants to appear at your location with a sign in sheet and participation receipts. Give receipts for donations to the contestants, so they can confirm their donations. I will pick up the sign in sheets on September 26th
5. Set up a table representing your charity at the final Charity Fair at 5:30 on Thursday, September 27th at 6:00 in the Wesley Fellowship Hall of the Morehead Methodist Church.
