Well…is change good?

Although I feel as lost as a ball in tall weeds, I’m optimistic—and I’m hoping Kat’s scanner scoop shines like the diamond that it was.

    hey dh…welcome over!

    i emailed kat to let her know that i set her up with an account already. all she has to do is log in and start posting scoops. i told her if she has any troubles, to just email and let me know. i created a category called “scanner scoop”, so it will keep them all together.

    Kat…be sure to check your email. I left you a message in there last night about logging in and adding scanner scoops. I think you made it to the site earlier than most, though, and the comments you left go “nuked” accidentally. Everything is settling down now, though, and should be OK.

    Site’s looking good! The links on the sides jump about when I use MSIE but they stay put in other browsers.

    I’ve now had a chance to play around a little bit and I think this format will be more “user friendly”. Don’t get me wrong… I still like the plone site, but this format seems so much easier to use.

    i see what you’re saying nighthawk…the boxes on the right seem to be “busting out” of their space on IE, but not in firefox. I’ll see what I can do to fix that.

    i’m like you…i really like the plone site, too…but i think for this type of site and what it needs to be able to do, WordPress may be just the trick. :)

    Sleeping Beauty, Tom Thumb, and Quasimodo were all talking one day.

    Sleeping Beauty said, “I believe myself to be the most beautiful girl in the world.”

    Tom Thumb said, “I must be the smallest person in the
    world.”

    Quasimodo (the huntchback of Notre Dame) said, “I absolutely have to be the most disgusting person in the world.”

    So they all decided to go to the Guinness Book of World Records to have their claims verified.

    Sleeping Beauty went in first and came out looking deliriously happy. “It’s official, I AM the most beautiful girl in the world.”

    Tom Thumb went next and emerged triumphant, “I am now
    officially the smallest person in the world.”

    Sometime later, Quasimodo comes out looking utterly confused and says.

    “Who the hell is Rosie O’Donnell?”
